He has garnered ample experience in criminal proceedings, state administrative disputes, and judicial reviews. Outside of his work, Deni enjoys researching various legal topics related to public law, including environment, spatial planning, land, and criminal law.


Deni obtained his Bachelor of Law from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia. Since his years as a student at Universitas Indonesia, Deni has persistently honed his critical thinking and out-of-the-box analysis in both writing and debate competitions.


Deni’s background and endless pursuit of excellence allow him to produce creative yet straightforward approaches to resolving disputes in murky waters.

Some notable cases handled by Deni are as follows:

  1. Representing an eco-warrior to file a judicial review of Electronic Information and Transaction Law to enhance the legal certainty for defamation and incitement of hatred criminal provisions.
  2. Representing a presidential and vice-presidential candidate in the 2024 Presidential Election Results Dispute.
  3. Representing the listed subsidiary of a Thailand multinational company in Indonesia to file a lawsuit against debt claimed by the Indonesian Government.
  4. Representing property developers in Bogor against the seizure of golf courses and hotels by the government.
  5. Representing 19 students against unjust dismissal due to the failure to adjust the education system to the extraordinary circumstances caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
  6. Representing an economically disadvantaged student in submitting a judicial review petition against Trade Law for opening a gap to commercialize higher education.
  7. Representing 22 State Universities to file a judicial review against Minister Regulation which centralizes the authority to harmonize laws and regulations under the Directorate General of Legislative Planning.
  8. Submitting judicial review petition for Article 53 par. (1) of Government Administration Law to improve the formulation of the positive fictional concept.
