Sampe Purba (born 1963) is a professional with an educational background in Economics and Law, obtained both domestically and internationally. He holds a doctor degree from Indonesia Defense University majoring in Geostrategy Energy. He is also an alumnus of the Regular Course of Lemhannas – A National Strategic Leadership Course in Indonesia.

Throughout his career, Sampe served as a civil servant (ASN) at BPKP, then as Professional in BPMIGAS/ SKKMIGAS and spent the last five years as an Advisor to Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, specializing in Economy of Natural Resources.

His career experience covering System of Internal Control, Audit Supervision, Economic Management of Oil and Gas, Government Corporate Law in the Oil and Gas Sector, Regulatory affairs in Energy including Environmental Sustainability Governance, and as Profesional Corporate Risk and Compliance.

His international experience includes serving as a Board Member representing Indonesia and Southeas Asia in The Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative for the past three years.
